The WESTINGHOUSE WGEN12000DF is a beast 10000-watt generator. This generator is the biggest of all listed here. It has more power than any other on this list. Whether you need backup portable power for an extended period or just a few hours because of a power outage, this generator is just what you need.

Because of dual fuel technology, when powered with gasoline, it has a starting watt of 15000 W & running watt of 12000 W. On the other hand, when powered with propane, it has a starting watt of 13500 W & running watt of 10800 W.

This generator is extremely safe because it has a low oil shutdown and overload protection. Furthermore, the control panel displays information, including voltage, frequency, and total operating hours. The gasoline fuel gauge that is already installed makes checking the fuel level a breeze.

This beast generator has 7 power outlets (which include 5 AC & 2 DC) by which you can connect multiple appliances at a time.

AC Outlets

  • 2x Duplex 120V 20A (5-20R) GFCI
  • 1x 120/240V 50A (14-50R)
  • 1x 120V 30A (L5-30R)
  • 1x 120/240V 30A (L14-30R)

DC Outlets

  • 2x 5V USB port

This generator is slightly noisy, with a noise level of 72 dB. Another downside of this generator is that it is not an inverter generator. If you are looking for an inverter generator of Westinghouse, you can select WESTINGHOUSE IGEN4500DF.

This fuel efficient generator runs on 10.55 gallons & it provides a run time of 11 hours in gasoline and 7 hours in propane at 50% load. This is the best generator for a home or business with high power needs. It also costs more than any other generator listed in our top 10000-watt generator review, but it’s worth every penny.

Review

This Genmax GM3500 model is another popular dual-fuel portable generator of 3500W. It is a bit more expensive than the GM3300, but it has some other features that might make it worth the price.

This Genmax will provide a starting wattage of 3500W and a running wattage of 3200W if your unit is powered by gasoline. When using propane as the fuel source, it has a maximum starting wattage of 3100W and an operating wattage of 2800W.

However, its noise output is just slightly over average (62 dB). Its remote starting capabilities are a definite plus compared to similar dual-fuel model.

When connected to another unit of the same power, its parallel capability function provides an additional boost. Contrarily, the parallel equipment kit is not supplied. It’s an optional supplementary purchase.

There are 5 total power output plugs, 3 AC and 2 DC. While it is not specifically designed for use with RVs, the L5-30R receptacle allows for easy hookup. In addition, it provides all the operational data you may need via a digital data center. Moreover, it has lights that flash when the oil is low, or the machine is overworked.

Campers, house owners & food truck owners, and other professionals would benefit greatly from its spark arrestor and CO detection technologies.

The Duromax XP900Ih has an excellent reputation for its performance and quality. It is a 4-stroke combustion chamber dual fuel engine with a recoil, electric & remote start.

When powered with gasoline, it has a starting watt of 9000W & running watt of 7600W & when it is powered with propane, it has an 8500 starting watt & running watt of 7200W.

Anyone who needs to use a generator in a quiet space will appreciate how quiet this one is (just 68dB). On a 6.8-gallon gas tank, it can operate for 11 hours at 50% capacity, whereas propane only gets you 4.5 hours. In addition, it is expected to have a GPH of 0.35.

The ATS plug and twist-lock L14-30R receptacle make this unit exceptionally transfer-switch-friendly. It implies that in the event of a blackout, you can quickly and simply link it to a breaker box.
